New Gallery. First details of the monumental woodcut.

With this large space. I wanted to create a composition with no focal point. To frame a chaotic public space. Almost as if the viewer were some voyeur, peering through a window. The emphasis is on public gatherings, the attatchment to our mobile devices and how they have become our voice. Although these devices are meant to enhance social interaction, the conversations themselves are still as empty. Further more, the recipeints of these texts are not clearly identifiable. They very well can be those inside or outidew this bar, or outside the frame all together.

Here is a group of images recorded with the very device the piece satirizes: a mobile phone.
